OBJECTIVES

           Christian Bible College of Baton Rouge is dedicated to generating within Christians believers the necessity of becoming prepared for working in God's vineyard. Once this interest has been generated, we, through divine leadership, provide believers with in depth scriptural knowledge and equip them for Christian service.

 Our main objectives are: 

1.        To provide Christian training for Christian people engaged in Christian work.

2.        To prepare leaders who will be able to guide others to invest their talents and skills in Christian service.

3.        To educate leaders to guide others in developing habits and skills which promoted spiritual growth and in applying Christian standards of conduct in every area of life.

           We are dedicated to using a variety of positive means necessary to accomplish our objectives.

  

ADMISSION POLICY

1.  We are unconventional to the point that Christian Bible

College of Baton Rouge places first priority upon genuine Christian experience.

          2.  Local church recommendations as to attendance, attitude,

character, and evidence of Christian calling are required.

          3.  A diploma from any standard high school or the equivalent (General

Education Diploma - G.E.D.) is the prerequisite for the Bachelor of Theology (Th.B.) or the Bachelor of Religious Education (B.R.E.) degree.  

4.        Students entering without a high school diploma or equivalent will be placed in courses of acceleration and remediation. Upon reception of the G.E.D., the student may continue to work toward the Th. B. or the B.R.E. degree.

 5.        Prerequisites for courses as prescribed by academic standards for

attaining degrees beyond the bachelor degree must be met.

                                   

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION

   All students are expected to fulfill the following general requirements for graduation:

 1.        Have completed successfully the required courses for the degree pursued.

 2.        Have removed all indebtedness to the school.

 3.   Exemplify Christian standards in attitude and behavior.

 4.        Have a C (2.0) grade point average or above.
