The Art of Listening to Our Youth

This workshop is designed to focus on the needs of our youth. The aim is to develop ways and means of involving parents, teachers, and other adults into this dialogue to bring about change as a result of listening to what has been said by the young people. 

Preparing Youth for Christian Marriage and Home Life

This workshop is designed to teach youth the biblical prescription for marriage, and encourage them to follow this biblical prescription. Christian youth will be instructed how to avoid the pattern of marriage espoused by the world. They will learn the harmful effects of cohabitation. They will be taught the value of marriage as prescribed by God. The goal of the workshop is to convict young people of the need to follow the pattern that God has set forth, and to project God's plan for marriage as the only way to have a successful marriage. 
 

The Church's Ministry to Youth

This workshop is designed to help church leaders and youth workers develop a viable youth ministry. Students will discover ways to assess the needs of youth, plan and implement programs to address those needs, and evaluate youth ministry programs.

Understanding Youth

This workshop deals with practical, simple ways of discovering needs and interests of youth, of focusing on and appreciating the normal developmental process of adolescents, and if studying the problems peculiar to them.

Drug Abuse and Our Youth

This workshop is designed to acquaint youth workers with drug abuse problems and to familiarize them with warning signs. Students will learn what to look for, and how to establish relationships with youth and parents before or during a drug-related problem.

Youth Understanding Themselves

This workshop is designed for young people to discover why they think, feel and act as they do and how they can guide their own growth toward Christian goals. Students will explore the various natures of the Christian youth-physical, emotional and spiritual.

Christian Youth on College Campuses

The aim of this workshop is to acquaint youth teachers and leaders with the academic and pluralistic atmosphere that our youth encounter on college campuses and to challenge the church to stay abreast with and attuned to them.
