GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION
All students are expected to fulfill the following general requirements for graduation:
1. Have completed successfully the required courses for the degree pursued.
2. Have removed all indebtedness to the school.
3. Exemplify Christian standards in attitude and behavior.
4. Have a C (2.0) grade point average or above.
INCOMPLETE GRADES
Work which is of passing grade but which because of circumstances beyond the student's control, is not complete, maybe marked "I" for incomplete.
An "I" grade is removed only by completion of the course work, not by repeating the course. A grade of "I" becomes a grade of "F" if not removed by the end of the first nine weeks of the following semester if the student is in school, or within one year if the student is not in school. (The student may request permission to remove the "I" grade in absentia). Otherwise, the "I" grade automatically becomes and "F" grade.
Instructors must make a grade change from "incomplete" to a letter grade within the time limit provisions explained above. The change must be made on an "Incomplete Grade Report" form secured from the Office of the Registrar.
GRADING SYSTEM
The college uses the following system of grading:
A - 4 points, Excellent I - Incomplete
B - 3 points, Above Average W - Withdrew
C - 2 points, Average WP - Withdrew Passing
D - 1 point, Barely Passing WF - Withdrew Failing
GRADING SCALE FOR PRACTICAL EXERCISES
Each semester the college will sponsor a Religious Institute for five nights. The objective of these institutes is to exhibit classroom training in a religious surrounding.
Letter grades based on attendance will be given. The grading scale is as follows:
ATTENDANCE GRADE
4 - 5 Nights A
3 Nights B
2 Nights C
Less than 2 nights: Grade will be based on assigned makeup work which must be turned
in to a designated person.
CLASS ATTENDANCE POLICIES
Each student is expected to attend each class in which he/she is enrolled regularly and punctually. This is regarded as a serious academic obligation. Failure to observe this policy may seriously affect a student's academic standing.
Each instructor is expected to check the class roll at each class meeting, keep a permanent record of attendance for each class, and report student absences to the Office of the Dean of the College.
A student's attendance is governed by the following specific policies:
1. A student force to be absent from classes because of illness or other
unavoidable cause should promptly report the reason to the instructor, and if required, present excuses. A student must submit excuses to his/her instructor within three days following the return to class.
2. A student who must be absent from the college for an extended period (over a week or more) should secure permission from his/her instructor and from the dean.
3. When a student receives a total of four unexcused absences in a given class, the matter should be reported to the college for consideration of such steps as counseling, probation, or dropping as may be appropriate.
4. A student with excessive absences, five of more, for any cause will be dropped unless extenuating circumstances warrant special instructional arrangements.
5. Tardiness is treated as an absence unless an excuse is obtained from the instructor at the end of the class period.
DROPPING COURSES
In courses dropped within the time limit specified in the College Calendar, the student will receive the grade of "W." In courses dropped after the date specified (see college calendar), the student will receive the grade of "WP" as appropriate.
WITHDRAWAL FROM THE COLLEGE
1. When a student withdraws before mid-term of any semester session,
he/she will receive the grade of "W" in all courses.
2. When a student withdraws after the expiration of the first half of a
semester or summer session, he will receive a grade of "WP" or "WF" in all courses he/she is scheduled for at the time of withdrawal.
The college reserves the right to request the withdrawal of any student whose personal conduct indicates an inability to achieve minimum standards of progress and personal development in the college. All such cases will be decided on a individual basis.
RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES
Chapel Services: All students must attend chapel except as provided for because of extenuating circumstances which have been approved by the Dean of the College. This practical experience is an integral part of the school's program. It is not an elective. Chapel Service each Saturday is an extremely rewarding experience. Not only is it a time to make mistakes without feeling a mistake is fatal, but it is also a time to develop a closer relationship with fellow students. In addition to attaining spiritual growth, the student is preparing himself for the work that has been assigned to him.
Students are also expected to participate in other religious activities sponsored by the college during each semester. These learning and relational experiences are vital to the believer as he/she moves toward spiritual maturity.
These activities are designed to help you, our students, gain first had experience. As you begin to take part in these activities, you are to begin to think of yourselves as good leaders becoming better each time. These are yours; make the most of them.

The group charged with the responsibility of acting as an effective representative of students of Christian Bible College is the student body. This group participates in:
1. Programs and activities which represents the students' needs and interest.
