CBC – 2 Year Christian Counseling Certificate Program

 

C11 – Basic survey of O.T. with emphasis on Biblical Interpretation and the relevance of scriptural application to life’s problems.

 C12 – Basis introduction to Counseling terminology and Christian Counseling as a field of work.

 C13 – Introduction to Counseling techniques and strategies to be used in counseling families with emphasis on Counselor facilitation.

 C24 – A survey of N.T. scripture with emphasis on Biblical interpretation and relevance to life’s problems

 C25 – In introduction to some of the major Counseling theories and how they are used with Counselors.

 C26 – An introduction to the Counselor’s method of working with group individuals.

 C37 – An exploration to the Counselor’s plan of premarital Counseling, its assessment and evaluation as applied.

 C38 – The exploration of family issues and systems and their influence upon individuals.

 C39 – Experimentation with fundamentals of Counseling and present-day counseling techniques and practices.

 C410 – A discussion of basic counseling legalities and ethical procedures and practices used in counseling.

 C411 – Exploration of the stages of grief and counseling strategies with persons in bereavement and facilitation of the bereavement group as a special project.

 C412 – Actual work experience of the counselor with observation and supervision of the counselor in an actual counseling setting.  Special emphasis is placed on setting up a counseling ministry and its operation in the church.
